Buddhist True Bodhi Association
BTBA was established in July of 2019. BTBA believes in the teachings of true Buddhism, including the teachings of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, Shakyamuni Buddha, and all the Buddhas and Great Bodhisattvas. Such teachings are extremely extensive, but the core of them are:
- Do no deed that is evil.
- Do all deeds that are good.
- Benefit living beings based on a greatly compassionate and enlightened mind.
There are the doctrines and disciplines of Buddhism handed down throughout the generations. The doctrines and discipline of Buddhism include:
- Abiding by the five precepts: no killing, no stealing, no sexual misconduct, no lying, no intoxicants;
- Practicing the ten good characteristics: no killing, no stealing, no sexual misconduct, no lying, no harsh speech, no divisive speech, no idle chatter, no greed, no anger, no wrong view;
- Practicing the four limitless states of mind: limitless loving-kindness, limitless compassion, limitless sympathetic joy, and limitless non-differentiating generosity.
